Day by day
He relentlessly
puts on his mask
Pretending
that the sun always shines
But deep
inside
His heart
glistens
He had
completely forgotten since when
His shaking
faith starts to crumble
Succumbing into
the cracks of reality he once know
His fragile
universe of belief is shattering
Broken into
pieces,
Tattered
and torn apart by the cruelty of life
Weaknesses
and imperfection haunt his shadow
Repeated
failures and obstacles
That
appeared blind to him
Lead him
further into the abyss of despair
He was
unsatisfied by how life became
And wished
he could fix everything
He wanted to
regain control of himself
And cut off
the marionette strings that life put on him
He wants to
save himself
From continuing
drowning
He knows
that nobody will hear his pleas
Nor answer
his distress
He will be
sinking further and further
Into the
depths of humiliation
Into oblivion,
For no one
else in this world left can rescue him
Except time
